Ho buttato giù un paio di slide su un argomento "Server consolidation with Solaris containers and ZFS" davvero interessante.
Devo dire che la potenza e la versatilità sia delle zone di Solaris 10 che di ZFS mi hanno sbalordito.
Per quanto riguarda ZFS mi spiace solo che ancora non sia stato portato su GNU/Linux, potremmo davvero trarre molti vantaggi da questo innovativo FS (anche se chiamarlo FS è un poco sminuitivo) .

I wrote some slides about "Server consolidation with Solaris containers and ZFS", a very interesting topic.
I was amazed from the power and the versatility of the Solaris 10 zones and ZFS.
Talking about ZSF, i'm sad because there isn't any "porting" for GNU/Linux. We could obtain many advantages from this innnovative FS (even though calling it FS is a little wrong).
